Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: June 2026 · Version 1.0

This Policy sets out what may and may not be broadcast through JEEBoard signage. It protects clients, venues, and the public while keeping responsibility for content with the party that controls it — you.

1Scope

This Policy applies to all Content broadcast through, and all use of, the JEEBoard Platform and Hardware. JEEBoard is a brand of LumosTech B.V., registered in Tilburg, the Netherlands. References to “JEEBoard”, “we”, or “us” mean LumosTech B.V. trading as JEEBoard. It supplements the Terms of Service.

2You control your content

JEEBoard provides signage infrastructure; it does not pre-screen or monitor what clients broadcast. You are solely responsible for your Content, including securing all rights, licences, and permissions, and for compliance with advertising codes, consumer-protection rules, and any industry-specific regulations that apply to you.

3Content that is not permitted

You may not use the Platform or Hardware to broadcast Content that:

  • Is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, fraudulent, or misleading;
  • Infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights;
  • Is obscene, sexually explicit, or harmful to minors;
  • Promotes violence, hatred, harassment, or discrimination against any group or individual;
  • Breaches advertising standards or makes unsubstantiated commercial claims;
  • Contains malware or attempts to disrupt or compromise the Platform.

4Sensitive categories & venue suitability

Because JEEBoard displays often appear in shared public and commercial spaces, certain categories — including political, religious, and sexually themed material, or other content likely to cause significant public discomfort — may be restricted at JEEBoard's reasonable discretion or at a venue's request. This is a discretionary suitability measure, not a blanket prohibition: where such Content is lawful and a specific deployment permits it, it may be agreed in writing for that deployment. We will apply this reasonably and consistently.

5Moderation & enforcement

5.1 JEEBoard does not proactively police Content. Moderation may occur after the fact where a complaint, legal notice, ethical concern, venue request, or technical issue reasonably requires it.

5.2 JEEBoard may, acting reasonably, review, delay, or remove Content, or suspend access, where Content appears to breach this Policy, applicable law, or a venue agreement. We will use reasonable efforts to notify the Client.

5.3 Because moderation is reactive, JEEBoard is not responsible for Content remaining live before it is reported or detected.

6Consequences of breach

Breach of this Policy may lead to removal of Content, suspension or termination of service under the Terms of Service, and the Client's indemnity obligations for any resulting claims, fines, or costs.
